What is the Eagle Commission?

The Eagle Commission is a national ministry of the Charis Fellowship. Our mission is to "take the Gospel of peace to our nation's warriors." The Eagle Commission fulfills its purpose by:

Serving: EC serves our military with competent, compassionate, and caring chaplains who represent our Fellowship. EC serves our chaplains and their families by keeping them connected to the Charis Fellowship.

Recruiting: EC recruits highly qualified men with a clear sense of calling to this ministry. EC recruits Churches & Individuals - Partners in ministry who sustain our chaplains and their families in their missional work.

Empowering: EC develops prayer networks across the Charis Fellowship for our chaplains, their families, and their ministries. EC provides tuition assistance to defray the high cost of seminary education for our endorsed Chaplin Candidates. EC provides training resources to effectively minister to veterans in our churches and in our communities.
